SEATTLE SKETCH COMEDY PROJECT 1999: 9 SKETCH COMEDY GROUPS, 50 COMEDIANS AND 1 CELEBRITY EMCEE = MORE FUN THAN YOU CAN SHAKE A STICK AT.

The Seattle Sketch Comedy Project makes a triumphant debut this November 15th and 16th in a full-length show featuring 9 Seattle sketch comedy groups and Almost Live! TV personality John Keister serving as Master of Ceremonies.

The SSCP is dedicated to raising awareness about the incredibly vibrant sketch comedy scene in Seattle. There are more actively performing sketch groups in Seattle than anywhere else on the west coast, and only in Seattle have all these groups come together to form a sketch comedy collective--the first of its kind.

The public needs to know more about the incredible talent and comic diversity that lives here year-round. Audiences are used to watching their TVs to see sketch comedy-instead, they should walk down to the theatres, where live sketch is twice as funny and three times as sharp. The Seattle Sketch Comedy Project will change that. We have plans and aspirations, and to back them up we're bringing every sketch group in this great city and giving them all to the public together. Think of it as a sampler. Think of it as a great deal for ten little dollars. Think how live comedy will change your life. Okay, that's a bit grandiose. But it's definitely going to rock.
